Biography:
Dax Sommerfeld (daxopus) is a visual artist based in New York City, with a history of study in both ceramic sculpture and computer engineering. He has since traded the monocultural quiet suburbia and arid void of Utah’s high deserts for an urban landscape teeming with culture and the vast floral lushness in the eastern states. When not working in his studio, he can usually be found climbing cliffs somewhere in the mountains.
